American Dance Platform Symposium 2020

The Joyce Theater Education Department is partnering with NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Dance Education program at NYU Steinhardt to present MOVING FORWARD, the inaugural American Dance Platform Symposium. Participants in the program will hear from esteemed guests:

Jawole Willa Jo Zollar (Florida State University) 
Cornelius Carter (Professor Emeritus, University of Alabama) 
Charles O. Anderson (University of Texas at Austin) 
Rebecca Salzer (University of Alabama) 
Gesel R. Mason (University of Texas at Austin) 
Norah Zuniga Shaw (Ohio State University)

The event will take place at NYU Center for Ballet and the Arts from January 8 - 11, 2020, with evening performances at the Joyce Theater.

Faculty and students from Tisch and Steinhardt are encouraged to attend. Application deadline is October 31st, 2019. For more information on how to apply, click here.
