Faculty Research Working Group

Since its inception, Tisch Creative Research has benefited from the counsel and support of the Faculty Research Working Group, an essential advisory body comprising faculty from across Tisch.

The Faculty Research Working Group has supported Tisch Creative Research in developing strategic frameworks, delivering and assessing programmatic initiatives, and providing feedback to the school’s leadership on a range of research-related subjects. In collaboration with Tisch Creative Research, the Faculty Research Working Group plays a critical role in advocating for the rigorous practice-based research conducted by members of the Tisch community. In 2023-24, the Research Working Group initiated a curricular research project called The Greenhouse, drawing together several ad hoc groups of faculty interested in developing new Tisch courses focused on large thematic issues. Findings from The Greenhouse Working Group are forthcoming.
