DPI Alum Wyatt Gallery Opens Exhibition "Subtext II: Meditations" at Foley Gallery

Friday, May 12, 2017

On May 17, 2017, Department of Photography & Imaging alum Wyatt Gallery (BFA '97) will open his new exhibition "Subtext II: Meditations" at the Foley Gallery. The exhibition will feature his photographic works of empty advertising spaces found throughout the subway systems in New York City, capturing the temporariness of their permanence. With this exhibition, the second installation in his Subtexts series, Gallery aims to create a stronger connection to his own spiritual practices through "urban-mindfulness."

Gallery himself is an award-winning photographer, having exhibited his work across the world in a number of major public, private, and corporate collections, as well as having his work featured in numerous major publications.

The opening reception for "Subtexts II: Meditations" is on May 17, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at the Foley Gallery.
