DPI Alum Wyatt Gallery and "Jewish Treasures of the Caribbean" at 92Y

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 7:00pm, DPI alum Wyatt Gallery (BFA '97) will give a book talk about his recent photobook, Jewish Treasures of the Caribbean, at the 92nd Street Y. The book is a compilation of over 200 photographs taken by Gallery from 2009 to 2015 that capture the historic sites of Sephardic Jewish culture in Barbados, Curacao, Jamaica, Nevis , St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. Eustatius, and Suriname, of which little is currently known about, bringing to the world their beauty and strength in the face of the extinction of their communities.
