Rebecca Arthur (BFA '18) was the recipient of this year's Keystone Award as a part of Silver Eye Center for Photography's Fellowship 19, an international photography competition. Her submission, "The House That Built Me," was in fact her senior thesis project during her time here at NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Photography and Imaging.

Now in its 19th year, winners receive a cash award and a solo exhibition at Silver Eye in the summer of 2019.  Rebecca is a photographer currently serving as an AmeriCorps member in Philadelphia, PA, teaching photography to high school students in a Title I school. Juror Jessica Beck, Milton Fine Curator of Art at the Warhol Museum, stated that, "Rebecca Arthur’s photographs are intimate, soft, and full of vulnerability. She presents struggle with empathy and honors the humanity of her subjects."
