The Center for Photography at Woodstock this year honors DPI Alumnus Paul Mpagi Sepuya with its Affinity Awards.
The Center for Photography at Woodstock will host an online virtual event for the 2021 Affinity Awards on Thursday, June 3 at 8pm ET as they honor two artists, Meryl Meisler and Paul Mpagi Sepuya, who have participated in CPW's artist-oriented programs and have gone on to create rich and engaging work, exemplifying how artists can inspire and connect us.
The Affinity Award was created in 2016 to acknowledge organizations and individuals, who have made significant contributions to CPW. This year, they will recognize two artists, who represent the breadth of the community they serve, and whose distinct work elevates CPW’s core initiatives—the artist-in-residence program (Woodstock AIR), artist workspaces, and our exhibitions program.
