DPI Alum Ifé Abdus-Salam named Manager of Museum Education and Community Partnerships at ICP

Hecho en Harlem Founder Ifétayo (Ifé) Adbus-Salam

The International Center of Photography in NYC recently announced that DPI alum Ifétayo Adbus-Salam (BFA '06) would take over as Manager of Museum Education and Community Partnerships.

Ifé comes from nine years experience as a faculty member and museum educator with ICP's Community Programs. She has worked as an educator and program administrator at numerous schools and nonprofit organizations including Bronx Leadership Academy II, The Children’s Aid Society, and the Studio Museum in Harlem. She is also a certified K-12 Visual Art teacher through the New York City Department of Education.

In addition to her many years experience as a photographer and educator, she is the founder of the acclaimed jewelry shop Hecho en Harlem.
