ISO Magazine is a student-run publication based out of NYU’s Department of Photography & Imaging in the Tisch School of the Arts. Since 2008, our rotating staff has worked to explore contemporary themes within photography and imaging culture. We place the work of emerging photographers in conversation with established artists, as well as write critically and creatively on photography. ISO has given many students an opportunity to have their work published and allowed our talented and diverse staff of writers, photographers, and graphic designers to engage with the work of fellow artists. By putting both young and seasoned artists in conversation with one another, we think critically and creatively about contemporary image-making. As a free publication, ISO is directly distributed to students around New York City and is available to anyone, especially the NYU Tisch community.

We are looking for your support in the publishing and printing of our Spring 2024 issue If I Could Witness Anew. Donations can be made to our Kickstarter: http://kck.st/48Hqgpq.

For those in the New York City area, please join us at our Print Sale on March 13, 2024 1-7PM in the Riese Lounge (721 Broadway, Lobby). Non-NYU affiliates must pre-register HERE and have a valid government ID to enter the buidling.

The sale will feature prints from our ISO Staff members, including prints from the 2024 BFA Thesis Show of graduating students, at sizes ranging from 8x10, 11x17, 13x19, and a select few large Fine-Art Prints at 16x20. Prints will be available for local pick-up only during the print sale.
