You are invited to join the Metaverse Artist Talk of Drue Kataoka with NYU Prof. Snow Yunxue Fu in VR WSPark!
VR WSPark is pleased to host Drue Kataoka’s Metaverse artist talk and NFT artwork viewing, led by NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ Prof. Snow Yunxue Fu. The 30 minute long conversation in the social VR platform Sansar will also be live streamed on YouTube. It will go in-depth about Drue’s recent NFT artwork “Will Your Heart Pass the Test?”, currently on offer on Phillips’ Website. The event is co-hosted by the DSLCollection.
“Will Your Heart Pass the Test?” is a new, charitable, non-fungible token (NFT) initiative in collaboration with ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s pioneering immersive entertainment studio. The audio-visual NFT is auctioned by leading auction house Phillips. The auction goes live on December 8, 2021 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 noon ET and end on December 15, 2021 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 noon ET. 100% of the auction proceeds will benefit two esteemed American civil rights organizations, The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (“The King Center”) and Stop AAPI Hate.
