He is passionate about the study of education, social justice, creating equal access and opportunities in his community work, and, of course, math! He has a love for local architecture, bridges, and Kafka and is always willing to chat about either.
Why PS @ NYU?
I chose to major in performance studies because I am in awe of the way the arts structure the world and impact so much of what we see every day. The department houses a diversity of perspectives, scholars, and researchers, and offers an abundance of resources that allow me to build a unique approach to my studies. By studying performance academically, I hope to gain insight into the social, historical, and critical aspects of artistic expressions. Performance studies not only aligns with my personal creative interests but also allow me to more freely explore and develop a versatile analytic skill set applicable to a variety of professions, including research and more.
