Justin Starks is an artist and scholar living in New York CIty. Originally living in Miami, he obtained his Bachelors in music at Florida Memorial University, the only HBCU located in South Florida. 

Project Title: DRAGGED: An Ultra Serious Research Project

Project Description: DRAGGED is bringing drag brunch into the world of books. Let's get unserious and learn something for once! And thats because no one said that drag wasn't educational. Because, Behind all the glitz and glam. Drag is political. DRAGGED seeks to highlight how camp resistence through drag is a form of politics that goes beyond the heteronormative idea of "yes i'm a human."
