Heifetz's "Third Body"
Ph.D. Candidate Yarden Stern will join artist Roey Victoria Heifetz in conversation about Heifetz's new work "Third Body." Third Body is a series of large scale drawings of Heifetz and a video installation created in collaboration with the filmmaker Zohar Melinek Ezra, that pose challenging questions about the “transgender body”, and the body in general. Heifetz and Stern will discuss topics that emerge from the work, such as gender change, anxieties, old age, regret, femininity, motherhood, pain and fear – of herself and of society.
