PS alum, Biba Bell (M.A. '07, Ph.D. '15), has been featured rehearsing John Cage’s Europeras 3 & 4 in a photograph captured by Brittany Greeson, in a recent New York Times article titled ‘As Living as Opera Can Get’: John Cage’s Anarchic Anti-Canon. Bell joins two others as actor/dancer in John Cage's Europeras 3 & 4, avant-garde productions that reimagine European opera through pioneering composer John Cage's unique lens. We extend our congratulations to Biba Bell for her involvement in bringing this vision to life on the stage of the Detroit Opera!
