Performance Studies alum Leon Hilton (Ph.D. '16) has joined the Brown University faculty as a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies.
The Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies is the intellectual and artistic center at Brown for faculty and students interested in the aesthetic, historical, literary, practical, and theoretical explorations of performance in global perspective. Leon will be working with the department's undergraduate concentrators as well as the doctoral program in Theatre and Performance Studies. This fall he'll be offering a seminar on queer performance.
