On October 25 at 1PM, Performance Studies alum Afriti Bankwalla (MA '22) will moderate an artist talk between Jen Chen-Su Huang (Performance Studies PhD candidate), Rita Maas, and Audra Wolowiec.
The artists will discuss their participation in the exhibition, Dots and Loops (on view at Wave Hill until Jan 4, 2027), which takes up the musical score as a conceptual and visual framework through which experiences of language, sound, legibility, and perspective may be parsed. Working site specifically, the artists engage with themes related to the natural world, presentness, and interpretation. The event will end with a participatory weaving demonstration by Huang.
