Join the Department of Performance Studies for PANEL, a performance by Autumn Knight and featuring a panel of Ph.D. candidates from the department. The panel’s topic will not be set beforehand, so neither Knight nor the panelists will be quite sure what is to be discussed. Knight will moderate and lead the conversation building off her pieces like Sanity TV (shown at PICA’s TBA and the Whitney Biennial) and Here + Now. Knight’s work has already enjoyed academic attention, especially from Performance Studies—the first comprehensive publication on Knight's work In Rehearsal (2019) included essays by Jennifer Doyle and PS Alum, Sandra Ruiz. This will be an opportunity for Knight to be directly in conversation with the department, and the collective intellectual space of Performance Studies, if briefly.

Featuring panelists: Elisabeth Marion Barnick, Troizel Carr, Lua Girino, Kristen Holfeuer, Yarden Stern, and Christina Yang.

This event was curarted by M.A. Candidate Tim Reid and Associate Professor Malik Gaines.
