Ilana is a New York based theatre director, originally from Johannesburg and Toronto. She is interested in radical (re)interpretations theatrical and non-theatrical texts.
She presented her Undergraduate Theatre Studies honors thesis, “Systems in/ of/ as Performance: Uncovering the Authentic in a Post-Postmodern Age,” at the Comparative Drama Conference in Baltimore.
