Albert Delgado

Albert Delgado (Adel Hernandez) is a dance and theater maker, and M.A candidate in Performance Studies at New York University. His work encompasses the question in what it means to perform Latinidad, memory, gender, and sexuality in and outside of the traditional spaces of performance art using dance as a praxis.

Adel has performed and set dance works at Dixon Place Theater and Gibney Dance Center in New York City, New Mexico University for the American College Dance Festival, and also in San Antonio, Texas at Jumpstart Theater and Northwest Vista College. He has led workshops and teaches dance in both Texas and New York City. Adel has also performed with Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble and SpareWorks.dance.
