Theo Malloy
M.A. '23
Theo Malloy (he/they) is a writer, actor, and dramaturg from Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts, with a concentration in Directing, and Sociology from Cleveland State University and is an MA candidate in Performance Studies at NYU. Their work focuses on queer and trans performance and dramaturgy, identity formation, and audiences and spectatorship. He is also an author set to publish their debut novel later this year and the founder and Artistic Director of the TrouserRoles Theater Project.
Why PS @ NYU?
Performance Studies provides the opportunity to learn so much about a variety of artists and ideas that will inform my own work in so many ways. The program has really given my research and artistic practice the space and basis to grow.
