THE UNTITLED UNAUTHORIZED HUNTER S. THOMPSON MUSICAL ran at Signature Theatre (DC) from June 3 - July 13. "Funny, freaky, informal, fiercely independent," this musical by Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alum Joe Iconis (cycle 14) tells the (unauthorized) story of the counterculture writer Hunter S. Thompson. Described as "explosive" and "irreverent," this work is a call to activists and misfits, echoing the legacy of the writer himself.
