Seoul Institute of the Arts
A GMTWP reunion in Seoul, South Korea: Deborah Brevoort (Faculty/Cycle 6) and Mike von der Nahmer (Cycle 24) led a workshop in Opera Writing at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. Tekgoo Kang (Cycle 25) participated in the workshop and music directed the final presentation. The workshop was sponsored by Josh Jung (Cycle 21), who is now Dean of International Programs at SIA. Brevoort was there as a Fulbright Specialist with the US State Department, and Mike, Tek, and Josh are all on the faculty. The workshop took place throughout January, 2025.
