Eliza Randall & Samuel Norman, both current students from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program (Cycle 30), had the virtual premiere of their 20-minute musical adaptation of THE YELLOW WALLPAPER produced by HARP Theatricals. A musical retelling of the classic feminist short story about Charlotte, a new mother suffering from some postpartum disorder, who is placed in medical isolation and who grapples with her family’s expectations and being separated from her baby, but begins to suspect she’s not alone, the performance took place on HARP’s Youtube channel.
The one-act musical will also receive another showing on March 26th-28th, as part of the Irvington Theatre Arts Incubator Short Play Fest.
