Graduate Musical Theatre Writing alums Raiah Rofsky & Nay Harris (Cycle 31) present their show INEVITABLE TRANSITIONS as a part of the Emerging Artists Theatre new work series.
INEVITABLE TRANSITIONS is a queer supernatural musical set in 1990s suburbia. Lori is a gay teenager who can see ghosts, and her girlfriend Charlie is the only living person she wants to be around. After her mother’s death and sudden ghostly appearance, Lori attempts to fight against her homophobic brother Eddie. With a score ranging from heartfelt to sinister, Lori learns to move on from her relationship with her abusive brother and her hyper-fixation on death and the supernatural.
