Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alums Helen Park & Max Vernon (both Cycle 22) were nominated for the 2023 Best Original Score Tony Award for their score from the new Broadway musical KPOP.
Also, Program alum and Adjunct Faculty Member Sean Patrick Flahaven (Cycle 7) also received nominations (and wins) as Concord Theatrical's co-producer for SOME LIKE IT HOT (which won the Tony Awards for Best Lead Actor in a Musical, Best Choreography, Best Costume Design, & Best Orchestrations), NEW YORK, NEW YORK (which won the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical), the revival of INTO THE WOODS, and revival of the play THE SIGN IN SIDNEY BRUSTEIN'S WINDOW.
