Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program Max Vernon (Cycle 22) had the Japan premiere of his musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS.
Vernon's new musical is based on the real-life events of the 1973 arson attack at the UpStairs Lounge, a gay bar in New Orleans and was presented in Japan February 1-15, 2022.
