GMTWP Alum Peter Mills (Cycle 8)
GMTWP Alum Peter Mills (Cycle 8) will release an original cast album recording of his Off-Broadway hit musical The Hello Girls on May 23rd. The new musical featured a score by Mills and a book by Mills and Cara Reichel and received its world premiere by Prospect Theater Company at 59E59th Street Theatres this past fall.
From New York to Paris, from ragtime to jazz — an ensemble of actor-musicians chronicles the story of America's first women soldiers.
These intrepid heroines served as bi-lingual telephone operators on the front lines, helping turn the tide of World War I. They then returned home to fight a decades-long battle for equality and recognition, paving the way for future generations.
