The cast of ELEVATOR HEART at University of San Francisco
GMTWP Alums Amy Burgess (Cycle 17), Sara Cooper (Cycle 18), and Julia Meinwald (Cycle 16) had a production of their new all female-identifying ensemble musical ELEVATOR HEART at The University of San Francisco in October. Produced by the Performing Arts and Social Justice Department, the piece features vignettes exploring what it really is to be a woman today. The piece examines the ways in which women can and should be united despite varied life experiences, identities, intersections, and backgrounds. Through the comedic and the serious the ensemble teaches through relating experience and perspective with a nod towards the future.
