BELLA: An American Tall Tale by GMTWP Alum Kirsten Childs Announced as 2018 Finalist for Kennedy Prize

GMTWP alum and adjunct professor Kirsten Childs' show BELLA: AN AMERICAN TALL TALE was selected as one of the 2018 finalists for the Edward M. Kennedy Prize for Drama Inspired by American History. The finalists were chosen from a pool of nominations and included writers Ayad Akhtar, Dominique Morisseau, Lauren Yee, and Lisa Loomer.

The prize is given annually to a new play or musical that explores part of the history of the United States. Ambassador Kennedy Smith established the awards to commemorate her late brother, Sen. Ted Kennedy.
