The Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program held its first-ever fully virtual SESSIONS event bringing together current students, faculty, and alumni in a weekend of idea and skill sharing.

Members of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program community volunteered their time and expertise to lead sessions and panel discussions on topics of their choosing with the rest of the Program community. Sessions included topics such as creating musical audio dramas, collaboration techniques and practices, production music for TV, film, and radio, crafting personal online brands, and also included a 'Road to Broadway' series featuring discussions with alums and their recent-or-upcoming Broadway shows. The weekend-long event also honored alums Winnie Holzman (Cycle 1) and Rob Hartmann (Cycle 5) for their contributions and achievements in the industry.

The entire event was held 100 percent remotely at the Jill Edmund Virtual Theatre which provided the Program community an opportunity to interact and reunite with one another in a virtual lobby space.
