“ON YOUR RADAR” IS A WEEKLY GRAD FILM NEWS SEGMENT THAT FEATURES A STUDENT PICKED AT RANDOM.

KIRSTEN RICCARDI IS CURRENTLY A 2ND YEAR STUDENT AT GRAD FILM. WE ASKED HER A FEW QUESTIONS AND HERE’S WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY:

Where do you consider home and what is it like there?

I'm home when our husky-pitbull is leading me up my steep San
Francisco block into Glen Park Canyon. Where eucalyptus trees and
baseball mix. Standing in the kitchen with my mom is home.

Who or what is inspiring you right now?

A Japanese modern art craze called Chindogu inspires me. Heroes too.
People who do selfless things every day.

What has been your most rewarding experience at Tisch?

Moments like when Anya and me had to macgyver the matte box with bongo
ties on the fs100 for Lin Que's shoot. The shared excitement during
production is what makes me the happiest.
