Grad Film at Tribeca

The Tribeca Film Festival starts this week and there are many Grad Film students, alumni, and faculty featured. Here is a list of works by people in the Grad Film community:

 

My Blind Brother, a feature written and directed by alumna Sophie Goodhart will be screened. Get tickets here.

 

Thesis student Lilian Mehrel's virtual reality film haunt will premiere in Tribeca's Interactive Playground. Get tickets here.

 

Professor Amy Fox's new film Equity, for which she wrote the screenplay, is set to play at the Tribeca Film Festival. Get tickets here.

 

Professor Spike Lee's new short, 2 Fists Up, will premiere in the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival: Sports Shorts section. Get tickets here.

 

Third year student Myrsini Aristidou's short film, Semele, which was produced by alumnus Reinaldo Marcus Green, will premiere in Tribeca's Learning Curve section. Get tickets here.

 

Alumna Ingrid Jungermann's film Women Who Kill will compete in the U.S. Narrative Competition. Get tickets here.

 

Professor Tony Jannelli did the cinematography for Everybody Knows... Elizabeth Murray, which will screen at the festival. Get tickets here

 

Thesis student Shawn Snyder was the recipient of this year's Sloan Tribeca grant for his screenplay To Dust.

 

Alumnus Michael D. Ratner's film Gonzo @ Derby will screen in the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival: Sports Shorts section. The film was produced by alumnus Eric Cohen, edited and associated produced by thesis student Ashish Ravinran. Get tickets here
