Grad Film alumni Emily Carmichael and Mitchell Block both directed shorts that made IndieWire's Critics Survey list for "The Best Short Film Ever Made."
Carmichael, who is set to direct the upcoming Steven Spielberg-produced film "Powerhouse," directed the endearing 90's-era video game-inspired animated short "RPG OKC," chosen by film critic Eric Kohn.
Block's 1973 short (and NYU student film) "No Lies," deemed "fiction forged from absolute truth," was chosen by film critic Matt Patches.
