Grad Film at 2026 Tribeca Festival

Congratulations to the Grad Film alumni and MFA candidates whose films were selected to screen at the 2026 Tribeca Festival!

Homesick is a narrative short film written and directed by MFA candidate Nadia Bedj, produced by MFA candidates Fredgy Noël and Anton Vicente Kliot, and co-produced by MBA/MFA candidate Jessica Li. The film screened in the Shorts: NY Making It Here category. 

Fleeing Russia, Jenia thought New York would be her escape - she was wrong. Yet she’s determined to find her home.

Verse is a narrative short film written, directed, and produced by alum Noam Argov and produced by alum Jason Adam Maselle and MBA/MFA alum Terrence Shu. The film screened in the Shorts: The Dark Web category. 

Seventeen year-old Adam is forced to confront where his virtual persona ends and his real self begins when he decides to finally meet his VR girlfriend in real life.

Noga is a feature documentary directed by Jono Bergmann and Benji Bergmann that screened in the Spotlight+ category.  MFA Candidate Gonnie Zur served as Additional Editor. 

Fearless alternative pop singer Noga Erez is on the brink of superstardom with a unique, captivating sound and a major studio album on the way. But when war erupts and cracks appear in her relationship, Noga must redefine her role as an artist on a global stage.

Retache is a documentary created by Grad Film alum Hillia Aho, Mariano Avila, and Andrea Lerdo that screened in the NOW category. Tribeca Festival's 2026 Tribeca NOW program spotlights 10 boundary-pushing digital storytellers transforming the creator landscape with their distinctive voices

An Emmy-nominated documentary project chronicling the overlooked human stories driving America's reverse migration to Mexico.

Caity is a narrative feature by Lindsay Calleran with Grad Film alum and adjunct instructor Wren Haven as supervising sound mixer and re-recording mixer. The film screened in the U.S. Narrative Competition.

Every Halloween, 16-year-old Caity runs her family's haunted house alongside her father who she idolizes. As a new spooky season starts, Caity juggles a new crush Hannah, the arrival of twins Liam and Sean to work at the haunt, and her father's tenuous sobriety.

Something You Should Know About Me is a narrative feature by Andy Fidoten with Grad Film alum and adjunct instructor Wren Haven as supervising sound mixer and re-recording mixer. The film screened in the Viewpoints category. 

In this sweet and raunchy trans rom-com, insecure cartoonist Al is faced with his most daunting prompt yet: confess his true feelings for his best friend or risk losing him to a handsome nemesis.
