Grad Film alum Charlotte Wells received the Directors Guild of America Michael Apted Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement of a First-Time Theatrical Feature Film Director.
Produced by A24 and starring Paul Mescal, Wells was awarded for her film Aftersun, which has previously won several other awards at the Cannes Film Festival, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and many others.
