Alumna Dees Rees has signed onto her latest project: a series adaptation of the hit novel Saint X for Hulu.
The Alexis Schaitkin book the series is based on was published in 2020 and was called “hypnotic” by the New York Times Book Review. According to Deadline, “The psychological drama, which is told via multiple timelines and perspectives, explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre. It’s a show about how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.”
The eight-part series will be written by Leila Gerstein. Rees will also act as Executive Producer along with ABC Signature for the adaptation.
