Alumnus Michael Larnell's film Roxanne Roxanne will premiere on Netflix next month. The film was selected for Sundance last year and is a biopic about Roxanne Shante, a teenager from Queens who became one of the first female rappers in the 1980s. The film is scored by RZA.
Netflix will start streaming the film on March 23rd and you can watch the trailer below.
