Shandor Garrison

Shandor Garrison is an award-winning director, screenwriter and Emmy-nominated editor.  He has helmed over a dozen short films, including the TV pilot Goon Squad starring James Franco and Hank Azaria, and the digital series American Viral starring Michael Showalter. He is an in-demand editor, earning Documentary Emmy nominations in 2018 and 2025, and winning 2017 and 2018 James Beard Media Awards.  Shandor's script Backstage, about the rise and fall of a Columbia Records executive, made the 2013 Purple List. He is currently developing the feature, Coyote, starring James Franco, and is partnering with 28-3 Productions on the college admissions scandal limited series The Side Door.
