Ashim Bhalla

Ashim is Scriptwriter and Producer of the first theatrical documentary on Charlie Chaplin by members of the family Chaplin | Spirit Of The Tramp (2024). The film received its World Premiere at the 2024 San Sebastián Film Festival, winning the Irizar Award, and its North American Premiere at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival.  He is Producer of the award-winning Afghanistan war documentary and 2024 Slamdance opening night film, One Bullet (2023) directed by Oscar and BAFTA-winner Carol Dysinger.  He is the Writer/Director/Producer of the Amazon rainforest drama 973 (2022) distributed worldwide by Canal+.  He is an Executive Producer of the forthcoming dramatic feature film, Master, by the acclaimed Bangladeshi filmmaker Rezwan Shahriar Sumit.  Based in the UK/Europe region, Ashim works internationally and has several feature film projects in development at Kwanon Films.
