Sarah Galante has been awarded both the 2025 Paula Vogel Award in Playwriting and the 2025 Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award for her play Swallow Me Whole. The Paula Vogel Award recognizes exceptional emerging playwrights whose work demonstrates originality and bold theatrical voice, while the Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award honors outstanding new plays that advance the American theater landscape. As part of this recognition, Sarah has also been invited to serve as a Writer in Residence with the New Harmony Project alongside Area Head of Playwriting, MJ Kaufman.
