Poetry As Process

Join us for an evening inspired by the visionary work of poet and performer Sekou Sundiata. In collaboration with the NYU Tisch Coalition, a student group dedicated to cultivating community, belonging, and cross-disciplinary artistic collaboration, we're creating a space for reflection, expression, and connection.

Sekou Sundiata, through his "democracy dinners" intiated in 2001, hoped to foster understanding and bridge divides within the diverse American landscape. Now, twenty-four years later, we're embracing his model of intimacy to offer a contemporary means of processing our own experiences and perspectives.
