    Throughout the Spring 2016 semester, Tisch Artist in Residence Kristoffer Diaz will conduct weekly informal conversations with some of New York City's most exciting theater artists, producers, and thinkers. February 26th will include producers Susan Lewis (Head of Development for Film and TV, AK Worldwide) and Kamilah Forbes (Artistic Director of Hi-Arts, formerly known as the Hip-Hop Theater Festival) discussing film, television, and theater production as part of Black History Month.

    Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Tisch School of the Arts by experiencing media created by Tisch students from different departments dedicated to exploring how to make an image moving. Featuring films and images curated from UGFTV, Animation, Photo-Imaging, and Video Art from Special Programs. Music will be provided by students from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and the Steinhardt School.

    Future Artists High School Program Collaboration
    721 Broadway

    The Future Artist Programs offer FREE arts workshops to freshman, sophomores, and juniors in high school on Saturdays from February to May. Part of this spring workshop includes a collaboration between departments. This year a collaboration between the Future Dancers and Dancemakers and the Future Filmmakers will take place on February 27th at 721 Broadway. The dancers and filmmakers will meet to create short dance films that will be showcased in the final showings on April 30th. CLOSED EVENT

    Continuing our partnership from 2015 and in celebration of the Tisch's 50th Anniversary, Tisch Open Arts and the Tisch Initiative for Creative Research invite students from NYC Elementary School PS3, the Experimental Theatre Wing in the Department of Drama, the Department of Dance, and the Open Arts Acting Studio for a morning of movement-based collaboration exploring what divides us and how we "leap" across those divides.

    A Chorus of Two: Experiments in Actor Duplication
    ITP/Graduate Acting, 721 Broadway, 4th FL

    This collaboration between ITP and Graduate Acting uses facial tracking technologies, projection, and ancient Greek texts to explore creating a chorus of performers with just two actors. An open experiment session will be held on Monday February 29th, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the ITP Department.
