Tisch at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival
Thank you to those who joined us for an extraordinary TISCH ON MAIN at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival!
NYU Tisch School of the Arts was thrilled to return to the 2023 Sundance Film Festival for the school’s 30th Anniversary celebrating its extraordinary community of alumni, students, and faculty at the Festival. We were thrilled to see those who joined us for events, panels, and parties at TISCH ON MAIN, the exclusive home for Tisch alumni at the Sundance Film Festival, from Friday, January 20 through Sunday, January 22, 2023.
Congratulations to the 13 alumni who won an award for their work at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival! See all award winners here, plus the alumni who worked on award winning films.
This year, a total of 169 alumni worked on films in the festival. An astounding seven of the 12 feature films in the U.S. Dramatic Competition and five of the 12 films in the U.S. Documentary Competition were written, directed, and/or produced by Tisch alumni!
Overall, our community worked on 36% of all films in the 2023 festival, which includes 47% of feature length films and 19% of short films and indie episodic programs. Congratulations to all alumni and students who have projects in the festival! See our list of Tisch Alumni Affiliations here.
