Celebrating 26 Years at the Sundance Film Festival
Tisch students and alumni continue to fuel the film industry, as evidenced by the 2019 Sundance Film Festival selections. Of the films and projects at the 2019 festival, 32% were affiliated with Tisch alumni. Of the films in competition, 12 were written, directed, or produced by Tisch students or alumni.
For 26 years, NYU Tisch School of the Arts has had a presence at the Sundance Film Festival. We were proud to continue our support of independent and creative storytelling.
In addition to our annual Tisch Alumni Party, we hosted TISCH ON MAIN, an exclusive home on Main Street for alumni to rest, recharge, and meet other alumni during the first weekend of the festival.
