Tisch West Coastal Clean Up with Heal the Bay

Tisch West invites you to volunteer for Coastal Cleanup Day with local organization, Heal the Bay.

Coastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans, watersheds, and wildlife from trash and plastic pollution. It is also California’s largest annual volunteer event. This is an opportunity to join volunteers across our state to clean creeks, rivers, coast, and shorelines of all kinds. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the event in LA County.

So bring a bucket, gloves, and a reusable water bottle (gotta keep hydrated!) and come ready to spruce up the beach with fellow Tischies. 

*Snacks and garbage bags will be provided. 

*Street Parking or Paid Parking in the lot at Dockweiler State Beach is the responsibility of each volunteer. 

**All volunteers must sign a waiver to participate prior to the event.
