On Tuesday, November 11th, the Iris Cantor Theatre resounded with the genre-spanning, generation-defining music shaped by visionary record producer Clive Davis '53/ Hon. '11 (Tisch Dean's Council), whose electrifying career is celebrated in the film Do You Remember?
From producer Mark Ronson, the film travels through Davis’ unparalleled decades-long career and was followed by a Q&A with the legendary music executive, Ronson, and author/music critic Anthony DeCurtis.
Davis recounted stories for those in the room about the many stars that he discovered or signed over the course of his iconic career, including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, Alicia Keys, and so many more.
All contributions from the event went to support The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
