Alumna Accepted into Geffen Playhouse's The Writers Room

Chloé Hung '16 (MFA, Dramatic Writing) was recently accepted into the 2019 class of The Writers Room at the Geffen Playhouse. The program was founded by Artistic Director Matt Shakman in 2018, and provides a forum to develop new work for Los Angeles-based writers.

Over the course of this one-year residency, members will receive feedback from their fellow writers and dramaturgical support from the Geffen’s artistic staff. They will also have the opportunity to further develop their work with directors and actors, culminating in a reading series.

Hung's plays include All Our Yesterdays, Issei, He Say, and Three Women of Swatow.
