Adam Sandler '88 to Receive Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present the 24th Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to Adam Sandler '88 (BFA, Drama) at a gala performance in March, 2023. Congratulations, Adam!

The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor recognizes individuals who have had an impact on American society in ways similar to the distinguished 19th-century novelist and essayist Samuel Clemens, best known as Mark Twain. The award is currently held by Jon Stewart, and previous recipients in the Tisch community include Lorne Michaels, Dean's Council, and Billy Crystal '70 (BFA, Drama), '16 Hon., Dean’s Council.
