The 95th Annual Academy Awards winners were announced on Sunday, March 12. The ceremony took place in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and celebrated extraordinary filmmaking in 2022 across 23 categories. Congratulations to the Tisch winner!
During the course of the evening, three alumni performed or presented songs nominated for Best Original Song: Lady Gaga (Drama) gave a moving performance of Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick; Danai Gurira '04 (MFA, Graduate Acting) introduced Rihanna in her performance of Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever; and Stephanie Hsu '12 (BFA, Drama) performed This Is a Life from Everything, Everywhere, All at Once alongside David Bryne.
