The 71st Primetime Emmy® Awards were held on Sunday, September 22nd, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. These awards honor the best in U.S. prime time television programming from June 1, 2018 until May 31, 2019, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony was held over two nights on September 14 and September 15, 2019. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards honor outstanding artistic and technical achievement in a variety of television program genres, guest performances in weekly series, as well as exceptional work in the animation, reality and documentary categories.
