Jori Brooks-Johnson serves as the Manager of Faculty Services in the Collaborative Arts department. She has worked with Collaborative Arts since 2021.

Jori is a double graduate of NYU, with a BFA in Film & Television and an MA Archives & Public History. Her independent work spans the fields of film, television, and history, with credits ranging from SXSW to PBS American Masters. In 2025 she created the archival documentary Harboring History: Brooklyn's Transforming Waterfront in collaboration with PortSide NewYork, an award-winning maritime organization in Red Hook, Brooklyn. In her free time, Jori enjoys searching the archives for historical stories that deserve to be brought to wider attention.
